The afterparty will be in Bussum. We’ll share the exact location and practical details with you closer to the wedding date. Until then, we’d really appreciate it if you keep the afterparty and its details to yourself, especially around the other wedding guests.

Getting home afterwards
Please arrange your own transport home after the afterparty. From the afterparty area, both Utrecht Centraal and Amsterdam Centraal are roughly 25–30 minutes away by Uber or taxi, depending on traffic and availability.

Two of our own Mo:Dem heads, Tom and Bao, will be playing during the night. We’d love to have you there for the final chapter of our wedding celebration.

Our Chief Afterparty Officer is Jochem Coolen. If you would like to arrange something, share an idea, or have any questions or concerns about the night, feel free to contact him. He is fully in the loop, but he will not reveal the secret location or spoil any surprises.

Our celebration

A day to remember

A little glimpse of what awaits. The rest we would love for you to simply experience with us.

Welcome

We would love to welcome you from 13:30. Our ceremony begins at 14:00.

Raise a glass

After the ceremony, we will celebrate together with champagne, cake, drinks, bites and plenty of time to enjoy one another’s company.

Dinner & dancing

We will gather for dinner at 18:00, followed by an evening of music and dancing from 21:00 until 00:30.

Dress code

Elegant Garden Formal

Elegant, romantic and summer-ready. Think soft florals, refined fabrics and nature-inspired tones that feel at home in the gardens and historic setting of Slot Zeist.

For women: elegant midi or long dresses, delicate florals, muted tones and refined summer fabrics.

For men: suits in navy, light blue, taupe, grey, sage or other sophisticated natural tones.

A small request: please leave white, ivory and very pale cream to the couple, and avoid neon colours or very bold statement prints.

Black is absolutely welcome. Above all, we want you to feel comfortable, confident and like yourself.

Public parking is available within a short walk. Please do not drive onto the grounds unless specifically arranged.

Where to stay

If you are making a little weekend of it, we recommend staying in Utrecht, preferably around Utrecht Centraal. It offers the widest choice of hotels, restaurants and transport connections, while keeping the journey to Slot Zeist easy.

By public transport: there is a direct bus from Utrecht Centraal to Zeist that takes about 20 minutes, and public transport stops are within roughly a 5-minute walk of Slot Zeist.

By Uber or taxi: allow roughly 20 minutes from Utrecht Centraal to Slot Zeist, depending on traffic.

If you would rather stay closer to the celebration itself, Zeist is also a lovely option.

Gifts

Having you there to celebrate with us is already the greatest gift. If you would still like to give us something, we would be happiest with a contribution toward our future together.

Something small that fits in an envelope is more than enough.
